Rock Band 4: Harmonix drops Mad Catz for PDP

Harmonix has dropped Mad Catz as co-publisher of Rock Band in favour of Performance Designed Products (PDP).

The move comes as Mad Catz is experiencing financial issues, laying off a large number of staff.

PDP will begin shipping Rock Band 4 products this spring.

“PDP has a well-deserved reputation for innovation, customer satisfaction, and quality,” said Harmonix CEO Steve Janiak. “They have the logistical and technical expertise to support Harmonix’s ambitious plans for the future of Rock Band, with new hardware alongside a major Rock Band 4 feature update coming this fall.”

Harmonix is currently crowdfunding to release Rock Band 4 on Windows PC.
