Resident Evil Village DLC coming, but will be far off

Cool?

Resident Evil Village DLC is coming, but likely won’t make it to PC or consoles any time soon, Capcom has today declared.

Tsuyoshi Kanda took to Capcom’s livestream to thank players who’ve been enjoying the title since its launch in May. He also confirmed that Village‘s multiplayer add-on Resident Evil RE:Verse will go live next month.

Finally, Kanda — or rather, an onscreen message — told fans that Village DLC has “just started” due to “popular demand”… which likely means we won’t be seeing it any time soon. More information on the DLC was promised “later”.

Will RE:Verse be enough to tide you over, Resident Evil fans? Why or why not?

Resident Evil Village is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5. We reviewed it here and have written up several guides which start here.
