Resident Evil on Netflix: Infinte Darkness opening & live-action casting

Lots going on!

Two Resident Evil shows are in the works at Netflix, and the media company’s Geeked Week event has brought us a ton of information about both properties.

First, Resident Evil Infinite Darkness, a CG television show that will follow the exploits of Leon S Kennedy and Claire Redfield, debuted its opening minutes. You can watch them below.

The clip runs for almost three minutes, though is sadly devoid of either Resident Evil 2 star. Infinite Darkness will begin to be available on Netflix from 8 July.

Next, Netflix detailed casting of a live-action Resident Evil series in which Lance Reddick, Destiny 2‘s Zavala himself, will portray franchise villain Albert Wesker.

Reddick will be joined by Ella Balinska, Tamara Smart, Siena Agudong, Adeline Rudolph and Paola Nunez, all of whom will seemingly play Wesker’s “children”. There’s no word on when the live-action show will debut on Netflix as yet.

Which series are you most excited for?
