Remedy’s Control release date set for late August

We finally have a release date for Remedy’s Control: 27 August.

The game’s release date was first updated on the Microsoft Store before actually being confirmed by Remedy itself though a GameInformer exclusive. Funnily enough, Control‘s Microsoft Store page has since been removed (for both the USA and Australian regions).

Despite the weirdness around the release date reveal, this is tremendous news — we have a date to set on our calendars.

Stevivor was able to preview Control back at E3 2018 and called the game “the best of Alan Wake and Quantum Break.”

Control is developed by Remedy and published by 505 Games. It heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 on 27 August.
