April 2018 video game release dates

April 2018 video game releases mean more games to play… well, kinda. You might want to savour March 2018 titles like Far Cry 5, because next month is kinda empty, boys and girls.

As per usual, Switch players have a little more to be thankful for, with the introduction of LABO and availability of titles like Max: The Curse of Brotherhood and South Park: The Fractured But Whole (which we reviewed here). At least PS4 owners have something to look forward to in the form of God of War, which we previewed here.

Xbox and PC owners? Well, no love for you.

Here’s what to expect over April 2018 with a focus on gamers in Australia and New Zealand*:

Yakuza 6: The Song of Life

Tuesday, 17 April 2018

God of War

Friday, 20 April 2018

Nintendo LABO Variety, Robot Kits

Friday, 20 April 2018

Max: The Curse of Brotherhood

Monday, 23 April 2018

South Park: The Fractured But Whole

Tuesday, 24 April 2018

This is in addition to April 2018’s Xbox Games with Gold and PlayStation Plus free titles alongside the free Super NES remaster for Nintendo Switch (if applicable).

Additionally, there are a bunch of changes to the Xbox Game Pass program in April 2018.

*We know we always miss one or two titles, so sound off on what’s been left out, and make us feel stupid! No, seriously. We’ll fix it up if you tell us.
