RE2 Another Survivor update features Jill Valentine, Kendo

The RE2 Another Survivor update has added Jill Valentine in a sort of a prelude to Resident Evil 3 alongside a new Achievement.

The update’s pretty small, adding a single letter to Kendo’s Gun Shop. We’ve uploaded a short video that shows where the letter is (alongside its contents). Using a save to get to the Gun Shop and the letter should be relatively easy and will earn you the Chasing Jill Achievement or Trophy.

“Kendo,” the letter from RE3 protagonist Jill Valentine begins. “It seems like you’ve got your reasons for staying put, so I’ll trust you to take care of yourself.

“Still, if things get worse and your ‘other arrangements’ don’t work out, you know where to find me. I’ll do everything I can.”

An RE2 RPD Demo also adds an RE3 Easter egg — learn more about that here.

Resident Evil 2 is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4. Resident Evil 3 heads to those same platforms on 3 April.
