Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart offers ray-tracing at 60FPS

Sorry, PS4 -- you couldn't handle it.

Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart will offer a mode with ray-tracing and 60FPS at launch, developer Insomniac Games has recently confirmed.

The mode will be possible because of a launch day update.

Players who update [Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart] on launch day gain access to our Performance & Performance RT Modes,” Insomniac tweeted. “Enjoy a sneak peek at 60fps gameplay with ray-tracing enabled!”

You can check that out below.

While some PS5 games will now be offered on PS4Rift Apart isn’t one of them… and perhaps the sheer power needed for ray-tracing at 60FPS is one of those reasons.

Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart is a PS5 exclusive available from 11 June.
