Ratchet & Clank gets 60FPS upgrade on PS5

And it's coming soon!

Ratchet & Clank will receive a 60 frames-per-second (FPS) upgrade in April, developer Insomniac Games has announced.

The timing’s rather perfect, as the title is currently be offered to all PS5 owners for free.

Ratchet & Clank (2016) will be playable in 60 FPS on PS5 after a new update in April,” Insomniac said in a tweet.

An exact release date for the patch is unknown, but it’s certainly worth grabbing the free title in anticipation.

Ratchet & Clank is perfect for kids and equally as engaging for adults,” we said back in 2016. “It’s funny, gorgeous and well worth your time. Those who’ve already played through the original will find pleasure in its polish, and those new to the franchise, like me, will be kicking themselves for not having jumped in sooner.”
