Rainbow Six Siege to be supported for 10 years, have 100 Operators

Ubisoft intends to release 100 Operators and support Rainbow Six Siege for ten years, it detailed at the Rainbow Six Invitational 2018.

As such, Ubisoft doesn’t intend for a direct sequel anytime soon, which really isn’t surprising considering the game has a player base of 27 million players, according to the the developer.

A panel at the recent Esports event confirmed these details, alongside news that Ubisoft plans to release all 20 Operators that were present in the game’s standard edition. The game’s Year 3 has plans for 8 new Operators to be released.

The news as Ubisoft has recently detailed Outbreak, a new sci-fi event heading to the game.

Rainbow Six: Siege is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4. It was released in 2015, so expect to see it supported into 2025.
