QuakeCon 2022 a digital-only event between 18-20 August

An in-person festival returns in 2023.

QuakeCon 2022 has been confirmed as an online-only event that will run over 18-20 August, organisers have declared.

“Like you, we’re disappointed to not return to Dallas this year. An event of this size requires months of planning, and in this case, we had to make decisions when there was still too much uncertainty to commit to successfully executing an in-person QuakeCon,” ZeniMax Media said in a statement.

“The QuakeCon team is already working hard to put together exciting new streaming programming, online meetups, giveaways, charity opportunities, the virtual BYOC, and more, and we will announce more details in June.”

Plans for an in-person event in 2023 were also communicated.

We’ll have more on the QuakeCon 2022 schedule as soon as it’s announced.
