This is what the PS5 looks like (in disc- and digital-based versions)

Sony closed its PlayStation Future of Gaming livestream by giving us our first look at the PS5 itself.

The tower-styled console will feature the same white-and-black two-tone colour system, also sporting a bit of twist in its visual aesthetic in order to incorporate its disc drive. Well, that’s if you decide to go with a PS5 that has a disc drive, as a digital edition will also be made available.

“At launch, we will offer two options: a PlayStation 5 console with an Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive and a PlayStation 5 Digital Edition without a disc drive,” Sony detailed. “The PS5 gameplay experience will be the same, so the choice is all yours. While there are some slight differences in the look of each model, for the overall design, we wanted to deliver a console that’s bold, stunning, and unlike any previous generation of PlayStation.”

You can check out a video giving better looks at the PS5 below. What do you think of it? The previously announced DualSense controller was also showcased; that trailer is below as well.

While we finally got our look at the PS5, Sony didn’t detail pricing or an exact release date.
