Project xCloud heads to Canada from 29 January

Project xCloud will head to Canadian users next week, Microsoft has today confirmed.

Canadians will be able to participate in the streaming preview from 29 January, keeping to Microsoft’s promise that Project xCloud would head to regions including Canada, Japan, India and Western Europe in 2020.

“Canada has been one of the top-requested markets for expansion and we’re delighted to deliver for gamers in Canada starting next week,” Catherine Gluckstein, GM & Head of Product at Project xCloud said in an update.

The Project xCloud preview app, available on Android phones via the Google Play Store, will be available in both English et Francais in Canada.

The Project xCloud preview is currently available in three regions across iOS and Android devices. Alongside these new regions, support for Windows 10s PCs and “other devices” will be offered in 2020. Recently, a batch of new titles including Destiny 2, Halo The Master Chief Collection and Civilization 6 were added to the Project xCloud library.
