The PlayStation Network is having problems this morning

The PlayStation Network is experiencing issues with gaming and social applications on PS4 this morning, Sony has confirmed.

The PSN service status page says that players “may have some difficulty launching games, applications or online features.”

“Our engineers are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible,” the update continues, “and we thank you for your patience.”

The status was entered in around 5.30 am AEST and hasn’t been updated since. We’ll keep you informed as we learn more.

Have you experienced issues trying to use your PS4 this morning? Issues seem specific to PS4, so you may want to drag your PS3 or PS Vita out of mothballs if you’re stuck.
