They say that League of Legends is better with friends, but a little extra encouragement never hurts. For the next two weeks Riot Games is introducing a Party Rewards system to League of Legends to promote players to jump into premade groups and hit the Rift together.
Party Rewards works by adding an additional multiplier to your standard IP — a free in game currency — earned. The bigger the group, the bigger the potential jackpot. If you jump into queue with a full 5 man premade team you can earn an IP reward up to 16 times higher than usual.
The reward available also scales with what queue you jump in. Summoners Rift will offer the largest rewards while the other maps will have their rewards suitably scaled.
IP is by far the best way to purchase champions in game, and with Bard just a few days away the new reward system is a great way to rack up points to make sure you can get him on release.
