Overwatch free PC trial takes place this weekend

An Overwatch free PC trial is set to take place this coming weekend, Blizzard recently confirmed.

The PC free weekend takes place between 27-31 July, leaving out those on console. Here in Australia, things kick off at 4.00am AEST on 27 July and will run through to 5.00pm AEST on 31 July.

The free weekend coincides with the Overwatch League Grand Final and also provides access to the game’s newest Hero, Wrecking Ball aka Hammond the hamster. What’s not to love?

A total of 18 maps will be available in Quick Play, Custom Games and the Arcade, and players will be able to level up and earn Loot Boxes. Progress will carry over into the main game if you decide to make a purchase.

Overwatch is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
