Oceania PUBG Xbox One servers now available

Update: PUBG Corp. took to its forums to detail the addition.

“We’ve now enabled Oceanic servers for Xbox One,” the post reads. “Game modes currently available for Oceania are:

• Solo (Third-person)

• Duo (Third-person)

• Squad (Third-person)

“First person servers will be added at a later date We have no current ETA on when they will become available, this is dependent on player numbers.”

Original story: Rejoice players, for we now have access to local Oceania PUBG Xbox One servers.

After a rather lacklustre commitment from Microsoft last week, an Oceania server option popped up last night.

This should reduce lag a bit, but still be prepared for a rather meagre frame rate of around 30fps on Xbox One or Xbox One X. If you’re willing to turn off game capture, you may see a slight frame rate increase… but results do vary.

Are you excited to jump in on the new Oceania server? Our local joins those previously established in Asia, Europe and North America.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (or simply PUBG) is available in early access on both Windows PC and Xbox One.

Cheers, Robbie!
