The next Halo game a co-op arcade shooter, Halo Fireteam Raven

The next Halo game is a co-op arcade shooter called Halo Fireteam Raven, 343 Industries today confirmed.

Co-developed by Raw Thrills and Play Mechanix, the arcade title can be played in solo or co-op with up to four players using turret-mounted guns. You’ll play as the titular Fireteam Raven, an elite squadron of ODST, Orbital Drop Shock Troopers, fighting against the Covenant.

The arcade cabinet will offer a 130-inch screen at 4K resolution and will be exclusive to Dave & Buster’s locations in America. A set release date wasn’t confirmed, but Halo: Fireteam Raven is expected in the new few months.

We’ve reached out to Microsoft Australia to see if we’ll have the chance to try Halo: Fireteam Raven for ourselves.
