Surprise — the new Xbox Avatar system may have skipped E3 2018, but it will soon be available to Xbox Insiders, Microsoft today confirmed.
Those in the Insider program will receive access to the new avatar system tomorrow, available via the Xbox Insider Hub content tab no later than 5.00 am AEST on 20 June.
“The new Xbox Avatars are built from the ground up in to enable an unprecedented amount of inclusive customization options, and we will continue to grow these selections over time,” Microsoft said of the new system. “A wide range of body types and gender-neutral clothing enable you to uniquely tailor your avatar however you see fit.”
Players will also have the choice of using the new Avatar system or keeping with the Xbox Original Avatar they created back on Xbox 360.
