New Control screenshots available ahead of E3 2019

A batch of new Control screenshots have been released ahead of E3 2019, and we’ve them all for you to view below.

The screenshots are quite varied, with some showing the same Federal Bureau of Control locations that I saw during a presentation at E3 2018 (click here to read my thoughts on that, by the way). Others show off new characters like Pope (the femme fatale in white) and even an inventory screen.

My favourite screenshot, hands down, is the one where protagonist Jesse’s caused some type of explosion. Why? The screenshot was titled, “Fire Walk With Me,” a clear reference to Twin Peaks. Let that freak flag fly, Remedy Entertainment.

Control heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 on 27 August. We’re checking the game out at E3 2019, so stay tuned for our thoughts.

Steve's the owner and Editor-in-Chief of Stevivor.com, the country’s leading independent video games outlet. Steve arrived in Australia back in 2001 on what was meant to be a three-month working holiday before deciding to emigrate and, eventually, becoming a citizen.

Stevivor is a combination of ‘Steve’ and ‘Survivor’, which made more sense back in 2001 when Jeff Probst was up in Queensland. The site started as Steve’s travel blog before transitioning over into video games.

Aside from video games, Steve has interests in hockey and Star Trek, playing the former and helping to cover video games about the latter on TrekMovie.com. By day, Steve works as the communications manager of the peak body representing Victorians as they age.
