MultiVersus Season 1 starts on 16 August in Australia

And Morty isn't far behind!

MultiVersus Season 1 will kick off on 16 August here in Australia, with new character Morty not far behind.

“We’re excited to announce Season 1 will begin on August 15 [16 August in Australia] with a brand-new Battle Pass for you to earn in-game rewards,” the game’s official Twitter account declared.

“We can also confirm Morty will join the character roster on August 23 [or 24 August in Australia] as part of Season 1. We look forward to sharing more in the coming weeks!”

The news comes as rumours are swirling of the potential for shared Battle Pass progression; we’ll report back as more is known.

MultiVersus is available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5. We previewed it here and have criticised its microtransations right here.
