Mortal Kombat 11 DLC characters detailed by NetherRealm

The first of Mortal Kombat 11‘s DLC fighters have been confirmed by NetherRealm’s Ed Boon.

“Mortal Kombat 11 DLC includes Sindel, Nightwolf, [Spawn] and [two] more [two be] announced soon,” he wrote on Twitter alongside a video showing off some of Shang Tsung’s moves.

The announcement lends credibility to work done by dataminers ahead of the game’s launch. Said dataminers said data was found that suggested these DLC characters alongside Mortal Kombat‘s Fujin and Sheeva alongside the Joker, Ash and the Terminator. Already, Evil Dead‘s Bruce Campbell has denied that his character, Ash Williams, will be in the game.

The fighters are available as part of the Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack, essentially a Season Pass. Shang Tsung has been confirmed for release on 18 June. We’ll let you know as further release dates are detailed.

Mortal Kombat 11 is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Switch.
