Mixer has been removed from Xbox One UI

Mixer has been removed from Xbox One UI thanks to a new update currently being pushed out by Microsoft.

The update — one that also adds a new Events app that has been in beta testing for a while — is pretty much the final nail in Mixer’s coffin. Back in June, Microsoft announced that the streaming platform would be closing its virtual doors, pushing its userbase to Facebook Gaming.

Mixer will officially go dark from 22 July, with all accounts and apps redirecting to Facebook Gaming from then (or others simply being purged).

Are you sad to see Mixer go? Why or why not?
