Minecraft Dungeons cross-play, new DLC coming in 2020

Minecraft Dungeons cross-play will be added before the end of the year, with developer Mojang also confirming new DLC will arrive in 2020 as well.

“Cross-play is coming to [Minecraft Dungeons] in November, next month,” the Minecraft Twitter account proclaimed. “Gather all your heroic friends and prepare to play together on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Windows and Xbox One!”

Cross-play support will be followed up by a new piece of DLC called “Howling Peaks” in December. According to Mojang, it will feature “dangerous mobs, new gear, and the power of the wind itself, all await you atop perilous peaks!”

Minecraft Dungeons is out now on Windows PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Switch. It’s also available as part of the Xbox Game Pass subscription program. We reviewed the game here.
