Microsoft’s Season Pass Guarantee means you’ll get DLC on both current- and next-gen Xboxes

Alongside similar announcements today regarding player data, Microsoft revealed its Season Pass Guarantee, ensuring gamers who purchase a game’s season pass will receive its DLC across both Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

Microsoft made the announcement saying that EA, Activision and Ubisoft have already signed up for the program. It’s been confirmed that Call of Duty: Ghosts and Battlefield 4 are part of the scheme.

Does this give the Xbox One an edge over Sony, or do you expect a similar program on PS3/4 soon?
