Microsoft is recruiting for a game similar to Horizon: Zero Dawn

Microsoft is recruiting for a game similar to Horizon: Zero Dawn, a recently discovered job posting reveals.

The posting, found by MSPowerUser (via Kotaku) first appeared on LinkedIn. First published two months ago, it is on the hunt for a Lead Environment Artist for a “Microsoft AAA Nextgen Title” in the style “similar to Horizon Zero Dawn“.

The listing was posted by an employee of G3D, an industry-specific recruitment agency that’s done work for Sony and Activision in the past.

Considering the success of Horizon: Zero Dawn, is it surprising that Microsoft’s looking to create an open-world adventure of its own?

We’ll have more on the project as it’s made available.
