Marvel Heroes’ Gazillion Entertainment shuttered earlier than expected

Marvel Heroes developer Gazillion Entertainment appears to have laid off its staff early, just on the eve of Thanksgiving in the United States.

Many (ex-)Gazillion staffers have taken to Twitter to divulge that the studio’s last day is today, 24 November, earlier than expected. Marvel confirmed last week that the studio would close and Marvel Heroes would be discontinued.

It was noted at the time of Marvel’s announcement that several recent content launches had been missed by Gazillion.

Marvel Heroes is an MMORPG available on PC, Xbox One and PS4. Our thoughts go out to those developers impacted by the closure.
