While the Gears 5 segment of Microsoft’s E3 2019 press conference told us we’d be getting a special piece of Terminator Dark Fate DLC, it neglected to mention that none other than Linda Hamilton would be appearing as hero Sarah Connor.
The Coalition’s Rod Fergusson confirmed Hamilton’s inclusion in the content as part of an interview on The GameInformer Show, below. Fergusson said that Hamilton was due in-studio in a couple weeks to record her lines.
The Terminator: Dark Fate DLC pack will coincide with the release of the Terminator: Dark Fate film itself; that’s scheduled for 31 October. A Dark Fate tie-in is also planned for Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon: Breakpoint.
Gears 5 heads to Windows PC and Xbox One on 10 September as part of the Xbox Game Pass program.
