Layoffs hit Sony’s Sucker Punch studios

Sony-owned Sucker Punch studios have laid off staff this week, just ahead of the release of the standalone Infamous: First Light expansion.

“SCEA can confirm a reduction in workforce has taken place at Sucker Punch Productions,” Sony advised in a statement. “Sucker Punch is appreciative of the tremendous work team members contributed to the Infamous and Sly Cooper series, and wishes them the best in their next endeavors.”

Our best wishes go out to those affected by the layoffs.
