Last of Us Part 2 gameplay the focus of new video

The Last of Us Part 2 gameplay is the focus of a new video today released by Sony and Naughty Dog.

The behind-the-scenes video allows developer Naughty Dog to explain why things are they way they are within the game, but also show us some new mechanics like dodging, jumping and going prone.

While Ellie goes into prone position, she’s still able to craft items and has access to all her normal weapons and items. Ellie’s described by Naughty Dog as the “smallest person in the room,” nimble and able to get into small areas. Enemy AI has been beefed up so she won’t be able to hide in the same place forever.

The Last of Us Part 2 is a PS4 exclusive available rom 19 June.
