The Killzone website has been retired by PlayStation, Guerrilla

RIP, little franchise.

The Killzone website has been “retired” by PlayStation and Guerrilla Games, the pair has recently declared.

“The official website for the Killzone franchise has retired. Going forward, visitors to Killzone.com will be directed to PlayStation.com,” a statement on the website reads.

“While this change doesn’t affect the online multiplayer modes, player statistics or ranking data for Killzone Mercenary and Killzone Shadow Fall, it is now no longer possible to create or manage clans in Killzone Shadow Fall. We apologize for this inconvenience.”

The latest games in the franchise were both released in 2013. Killzone Mercenary appeared on the PS Vita, while Killzone Shadow Fall was a PS4 launch title. We reviewed Shadow Fall here.
