Kate Bishop heads to Avengers in September before mentor Clint Barton

Kate Bishop will be added to Avengers ahead of Clint Barton — they’re both known as Hawkeye — an early morning War Table livestream has confirmed.

Bishop “will be the first new Hero introduced to Marvel’s Avengers after its launch,” Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics confirmed overnight. An Operation called “Taking AIM” will be available in late October, picking up a narrative left by the conclusion of the game’s single-player campaign.

Clint Barton will follow in November.

Avengers heads to Windows PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Stadia where available from 4 September, though some will play from 1 September. A release on Xbox Series X and PS5 follow later in the year. We previewed it here.
