House of Ashes release date, Collector’s Edition announced

It's all happening in the spooky month of October.

The Dark Pictures House of Ashes’ release date and Collector’s Edition were today announced by Supermassive Games at Summer Game Fest.

First, we can expect the third entry in the horror anthology from 22 October across PC and consoles.

Next, Supermassive detailed a special Pazuzu Collector’s Edition, seemingly naming the terrifying creatures that were hinted upon in our recent hands-off preview.

Speaking to Stevivor late last month, Supermassive’s Will Doyle said the title drew “inspiration from films such as Aliens, Predator and The Descent.

Update: The Collector’s Edition has been confirmed for Australia and will be exclusive to the Bandai Namco Store. We’re still working on local pricing information, but the link just to the left lists a €59.99 pricetag, or around $95 AUD.

The Collector’s Edition contains the following:

  • House of Ashes game
  • The Pazuzu Edition box
  • An exclusive underworld creature figurine (9x9x10cm)
  • Ametal Eclipse pin
  • Exclusive art print
  • Stickers
  • The Curator’s Cut pre-order bonus

Any pre-orders of the title or its Collector’s Edition gain launch day access to The Curator’s Cut which opens up “previously unavailable scenes with different playable characters and outcomes.”

The Dark Pictures House of Ashes will be available from 22 October 2021 on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5.
