Horizon Zero Dawn PC release set for 7 August

The Horizon Zero Dawn PC release date has been set for early August — 7 August to be exact — Sony and Guerrilla Games confirmed over the weekend.

The PC version of the game will bundle it alongside its Frozen Wilds DLC and will also offer up unlocked framerates and support for widescreen monitors. Improved reflections, dynamic foilage and a benchmarking tool will also be added to the overall package. Some of these enhancements were detailed in a trailer, below.

You can pre-order Horizon Zero Dawn on PC on either the Epic Games Store or Steam.

Horizon Zero Dawn is already available on PS4 and heads to Windows PC on 7 August. We reviewed the base game here and its Frozen Wilds DLC here.
