The first Terminator Dark Fate trailer is now available to view thanks to the man himself, Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Arnie tweeted the trailer today alongside the remark, “we’re back.” You can check it out below:

As you can see from the trailer, Terminator: Dark Fate seems to be a direct sequel to James Cameron’s Terminator 2: Judgement Day, ignoring other sequels. Why do we say this? For starters, Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton) is still alive — she was unceremoniously killed off-screen in Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines.
Connor saves the day in the trailer, rescuing Dani Ramos (Natalia Reyes) and a human-Terminator Grace (Mackenzie Davis) from a new model of Terminator (Gabriel Luna). Schwarzenegger, meanwhile, is nowhere to be seen… until the new heroic trio track him down, that is. Nice beard, dude.
Terminator: Dark Fate heads to theatres on 31 October.
