Halo TV series first look shown at The Game Awards

Alongside our first real good look at the Chief ahead of time.

A Halo TV series first look was shown during The Game Awards 2021, ahead of our first real good look at Pablo Schreiber as the Master Chief ahead of the big reveal.

The look at Schreiber as John-117 comes by way of Entertainment Weekly, which also ran a quick interview with the actor.

According to the actor, Halo “takes place very much in the universe that the video games created, but it’s a it’s a TV show. We get to expand that universe and create stories in it. There’s going to be some new characters that are introduced, there’s going to be a lot of familiar characters that everyone will know from the game.”

Halo is a Paramount+ exclusive expected in 2022. We’ll embed the teaser trailer that airs during The Game Awards in this post.

Halo Infinite is now live on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X. Check out our Halo Infinite review here or our collectibles guide here.
