Halo The Series airs on Paramount+ in 2022

Eyes up, Chief.

Halo The Series will debut on Paramount+ in 2022, Microsoft and Viacom CBS have today confirmed.

The news came during a special 20th anniversary Xbox and Halo livestream which also surprise (well, kinda) dropped Halo Infinite multiplayer on players’ laps.

If you missed the presentation, you can watch the Halo The Series teaser trailer below thanks to Twitter. (You can also try the YouTube embed below, but it appears to be region-locked…)

Announced in 2013, the show was originally meant to air on Showtime and found a new home on Paramount+ earlier this year. It will star Pablo Schreiber as Master Chief, Olive Gray as Miranda Keyes and Natascha McElhone as Dr Catherine Halsey.

We’ll have more on Halo The Series as it’s made available; Australians do have access to a localised version of Paramount+, so it’s likely we’ll access the series via that streaming platform. We’ve reached out for further comment, but in the meantime, are you excited to see a live-action version of Master Chief?
