Halo The Master Chief Collection announcement dated for March

Halo The Master Chief Collection announcement has been dated for March during SXSW, 343 Industries has confirmed.

“Not only will you be treated to amazing matches and gameplay,” at the Texas-based event, 343 said, “but we’ve also got some exciting [Halo: The Master Chief Collection] news to reveal during the show.”

Nothing’s certain at the moment, but fans are hopeful that the news involves the addition of the Xbox 360’s Halo: Reach to The Master Chief Collection. It’s not unheard of — 343 added Halo 3: ODST to the mix as a way of an apology for the game’s tough launch.

If not Reach, the news could be that The Master Chief Collection will be playable on PC. Can you imagine?

We’ll keep you posted as we learn more.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection is available now on Xbox One and is part of the Xbox Game Pass program.
