Halo Infinite multiplayer free-to-play, 120 FPS on Xbox Series X

Halo Infinite multiplayer will be free-to-play and will also run at 120 FPS (frames-per-second) on Xbox Series X, developer 343 Industries has today confirmed.

Halo is for everyone. We can confirm [Halo Infinite] multiplayer will be free-to-play and will support 120FPS on Xbox Series X,” a new tweet from the Halo account proclaims.

343 has also promised that “more details will be shared later” in regards to Infinite‘s new free-to-play multiplayer model.

Halo Infinite is planned for a holiday 2020 release across Windows PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X. The full title will also be free-to-play — essentially — to those players with a subscription to the Xbox Game Pass program.
