Halo 5 Guardians free this weekend for Xbox Live Gold users

Halo 5 Guardians will be free-to-play this weekend for anyone with an Xbox Live Gold subscription, Microsoft recently confirmed.

Wannabe Spartans can play the title from now until 6.00 pm AEDT on Monday, 15 January. The game’s full campaign (including co-op capabilities) alongside all multiplayer modes are available to access.

Moreover, Halo 5: Guardians will be on sale for 20% off during this freebie period should players wish to continue on.

Halo 5: Guardians is an Xbox One exclusive released in 2015 — the game’s since been updated to become an Xbox One X Enhanced title. We reviewed it here.
