Goncalo Fialho named General Manager of SIE ANZ

Goncalo Fialho was today named General Manager of Sony Interactive Entertainment Australia and New Zealand (SIE ANZ), Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe (SIEE) today announced.

Prior to this appointment, Fialho served as Marketing Director for Sony Interactive Entertainment Italy.

“Goncalo’s thirteen years at PlayStation, have seen him lead across both sales and marketing,” Warwick Light, Vice President & Managing Director, UK, IE & Australasia at SIEE, said of his colleague. “This makes him well placed to take the reins of what is already an exceptionally strong leadership team. Having most recently led marketing for PlayStation Italy, we’re looking forward to him bringing his diverse insight and expertise to the Australia and New Zealand team.”

“This is an exceptional opportunity; I am really looking forward to working collaboratively with the teams to drive the PlayStation business to reach new heights,” Fialho added.

Fialho takes over as General Manager on 3 April.
