Ghost of Tsushima Legends multiplayer coming in 2020

Ghost of Tsushima Legends is a multiplayer update coming to PS4 later this year.

“Ghost of Tsushima: Legends is an entirely new experience — it’s a separate mode that focuses on four warriors who have been built up as legends in stories told by the people of Tsushima,” Sony and Sucker Punch said of the upcoming new mode.

Ghost of Tsushima’s single-player campaign focuses on an open world and exploring the natural beauty of the island, but Legends is haunting and fantastical, with locations and enemies inspired by Japanese folk tales and mythology and an emphasis on cooperative combat and action.”

The mode will offer up co-op play and matchmaking for 2-4 players and includes Story, Survival and Raid missions. A total of four different character classes — the Samurai, Hunter, Ronin or Assassin — will be on offer, each with unique advantages and abilities.

There’s no word yet on when exactly to expect Legends, but we’ll keep you posted.
