Free Xbox One X app shows off fancy 4K, HDR

A new, free Xbox One X app called Insects: An Xbox One X Enhanced Experience shows off the console’s 4K and HDR capabilities.

The free app is described as “is a real-time, interactive demo designed to showcase the best of 4K Ultra HD, High Dynamic Range, Spatial Audio, and the enhanced visuals of Xbox One X.”

The app originally started life as an internal tech demo, created using Unreal Engine 4.

It’s a free download and lets you show off your new toy — so get downloading! What have you got to lose? You can grab the app using the link above.
