Forza Horizon 4 PC specs: Minimum lower than Horizon 3, recommended aims for 60FPS

Forza Horizon 4 PC specs haven’t been fully detailed as yet, but Gamescom has offered up lots of information on what to expect.

First, Kotaku Australia’s Alex Walker cites Playground Games’ Ralph Fulton, who told the publication at Gamescom that Forza Horizon 4 will have lower minimum specs than Horizon 3.

Also at Gamescom, Playground Games’ Ben Penrose told PCGamer that Horizon 4‘s recommended PC specs will be targeting 60 frames-per-second.

“We’re now basing our recommended spec on 60 frames per second and not 30, which is a change from Forza Horizon 3,” Penrose said. “We’re really happy with the stability and performance from launch this time round. And we’ve also got a whole bunch of new options you can push [your PC] to the extreme beyond Ultra, if you’ve got a very powerful PC.”

There you have it — something for every PC. We’ll let you know when Forza Horizon 4‘s PC specs are fully detailed by Playground Games.

Forza Horizon 4 heads to Windows PC and Xbox One on 2 October. It’s part of the Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Play Anywhere programs.
