Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn might make it to Xbox One, Nintendo NX

Speaking with DualShockers, Square Enix’s Naoki Yoshida said that negotiations are underway that may bring Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn to Xbox One and even the upcoming Nintendo NX.

Yoshida said cross-platform gameplay between Windows 10 PCs and Xbox One might lead to the game on Microsoft’s current-gen console, though he was determined to allow for cross-play with PlayStation as well.

Like Dragon Quest XI, Yoshida said Square Enix is also considering A Realm Reborn for release on the Nintendo NX, though more information about the console will be needed before a decision is made.
