Far Cry 6 release date set for 7 October

Patience, Yaran.

The Far Cry 6 release date has been (re)set for 7 October across multiple platforms, Ubisoft today confirmed at the end of a gameplay reveal.

Those on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5 and Stadia can expect the title from that date.

We had the chance to interview World Director Benjamin Hall and preview the title ahead of today’s reveal.

If you’ve missed the news, Far Cry 6 will place the player in the shoes of Dani, a Yaran native who works with the local guerrilla resistance force to free themselves from the grip of oppressive President Antón Castillo (Giancarlo Esposito).

Far Cry 6 heads to Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5 and Stadia from 7 October. You can check out the gameplay reveal below alongside some new screenshots.
