Far Cry 3 is now backwards compatible on Xbox One

The Xbox 360 version of Ubisoft’s Far Cry 3 is now available on Xbox One.

The announcement was made earlier in the day by Microsoft’s Major Nelson:

For those that own a digital copy of the game, it will now be available for download on the Xbox One’s My Games & Apps section. For those with a physical copy of the game, simply insert it into your Xbox One to begin the download process.

Far Cry 3 was released on Windows PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 in 2013. We reviewed it here.
