Esports Pro Oceania Awards nominations now open

Nominations for the inaugural Esports Pro Oceania Awards, as held by the EGAA (Esports Games Association), are now open.

Categories open for nominations are as follows:

Community Awards

  • Player of the Year
  • Best On-Air Personality
  • Play of the Year
  • Rookie of the Year
  • Team of the Year
  • Community Tournament of the Year

Trade Awards

  • Esports Journalist of the Year
  • Broadcast Team of the Year
  • Best International Performance of the Year
  • Best Esports Coverage

Elite Achievement Awards

  • Esports Live Event of the Year
  • Best Overall Tournament
  • Publisher Esports Campaign of the Year
  • Best Esports Organisation

Nominations can be made here and will be accepted until 21 February 2018.

The actual awards night will take place at Sydney’s L’Aqua on 14 March 2018 as part of the EGAA Esports Conference and Esports Pro Awards Night.

“The conference and awards will be an opportunity for members of the industry to meet, share knowledge and participate in panels and workshops. This first conference will set us on a path of collective growth and professional development, a chance to get together and share ideas and perspectives with our peers.” said EGAA interim CEO, Mat Jessep.
