The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim has seven times the amount of mods on Xbox One than PS4

A look at available mods for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – Special Edition on current-gen consoles shows that the Xbox One has almost seven times more than on PS4.

At the time of writing, there are 69 available mods for Xbox One, compared to 11 available for PS4.

The big difference here is that Sony does not allow external assets in mods, while Microsoft does.

Bethesda has also made news today by declaring titles like Skyrim – Special Edition won’t be available to media outlets for review until release.
