EB Games is confirming Xbox Series pre-orders 7 hours later

Good news — and bad news — for some, as EB Games Australia is now confirming Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X pre-orders seven hours after users tried to secure them.

“Thanks for preordering the next generation of Xbox with EB Games,” an email sent to users now proclaims. “We can confirm you have successfully secured a launch day Xbox Console. Here are your order details [redacted].”

The news is obviously welcome, but not, as many consumers assumed their efforts to secure a pre-order through EB Games Australia were unsuccessful and have since attempted to secure consoles through other retailers including Telstra, Harvey Norman, Target and more.

Check your emails and see what situation you’re in. And good — and bad — luck!
