E3 2015: Rise of the Tomb Raider gameplay from the Xbox conference

Today, Rise of the Tomb Raider gameplay was shown at Microsoft’s E3 press conference.

Lara began in a cave before exiting out into a breathtaking tundra.

The heroine used dual picks to climb up a sheet of ice, jumping from column to column as a snowstorm whirled around her.

True to the rebooted game, Lara took a ton of punishment, falling off a cliff only to slam into a mountainside thanks to her safety line.

Lara then had to outrun an avalanche, leading across manmade tracks affixed to the mountainside.

Rise of the Tomb Raider will be available from 10 November. We’re checking it out at E3 this year.
